The Buffalo Rose Announces Closure of Event Center for Concerts Through August 31, 2020
May 22, 2020 – Golden, Colorado.

The Buffalo Rose, one of the longest-running business establishments in the state of Colorado, announces the closure of its event center for all concerts through August 31, 2020 as a result of the ongoing COVID-19 health crisis. The Buffalo Rose is in the process of rescheduling or canceling all shows planned for the summer season and information on each concert will be posted on social media channels and sent to ticketholders as new dates are confirmed.

“Based on recent State guidance regarding the reopening of bars and restaurants and our best assessment of whether we will be able to open for any meaningful public events in the near future, we have decided that it will not be feasible to host live public events through the summer of 2020,” commented owner Chris Cone. “The most recent information we have is that we will not be able to do so consistent with likely State health guidelines, assuming that the State permits live public events to occur this summer. If permitted by State order, we will host certain private events in the venue during this time.”

The Buffalo Rose will make decisions regarding shows scheduled after Aug 31 over the coming months once the State of Colorado and Jefferson County health authorities provide guidance and timelines relevant to hosting larger public gatherings.
