The Rose is one of the first in Colorado to offer the popular hard seltzer on tap
Golden, Co. (August 28, 2019) The Buffalo Rose, located at 1119 Washington St. in Golden, Colorado, is one of the first restaurant locations in the state to get Truly Hard Seltzer on tap. The Boston Beer Company, maker of Truly, just recently released “Truly on Tap” to bars and restaurants nationwide due to growing demand.
“Hard Seltzers are experiencing extraordinary growth,” said Chris Cone, owner of The Buffalo Rose. “While most of our draft lines are dedicated to craft beer, we decided to allocate a tap to Truly Hard Seltzer in order to serve those looking for a lighter, gluten-free option.”
The Buffalo Rose features five signature seltzer cocktails including the “Mean Girl” (Truly, Mint and Coconut), the “Swinger” (Truly, Mango, Jalapeno and Tequila) and the “Old School” (Truly, Raspberry and Bourbon). The bar staff can also mix up a custom Truly cocktail upon customer request. Truly cocktails range from $7 – $9 and are garnished with fresh fruit and herbs.
The Buffalo Rose, located at 1119 Washington Ave., has been the pulse of Golden, Colorado, since 1859. In addition to the new restaurant, the Rose includes a fully remodeled venue for hosting large private and public events, including a full slate of live entertainment programming on its main stage, and The State Room, a unique craft cocktail bar concept located on the mezzanine level of the event venue.
