Willian Topley & Band William Topley’s lyrics
Event Details
Willian Topley & Band
William Topley’s lyrics are subtle vignettes of life that take in universal themes that are filtered through the lens of late night performances, morning after black coffees and too many cigarettes. They are songs that deliver more with each listening and give you a real sense of the journey and the feelings that affect each and everyone of us. Dire Straits guitar legend Mark Knopfler, says of Topley: “He’s big-hearted, emotional and strictly legit.”
William Topley has developed a dedicated fan base in the U.S. ever since the release of Prince of the Deep Water in 1991, his first album with his band The Blessing. Producer Neil Dorfsman (Sting, Dire Straits) described him as “the most original songwriter I’ve heard for years.” The influences, still recognisable in his music, were already there – The Stones, Van Morrison, the best of soul and southern rock. The album catapulted The Blessing into a world tour, videos in Jamaica, TV stations in Paris and soccer stadiums in Germany with Simply Red and Level 42.
Legendary Rolling Stones Producer Jimmy Miller, who produced The Blessing’s second album Locusts and Wild Honey, was equally enthusiastic. “They’re right up my alley. I haven’t had such a good relationship with a band since Traffic.”
Ever looking for new challenges, Topley decided to go solo for his next albums. Producer Barry Beckett said of Topley: “He’s the best singer I’ve ever heard.” And that’s from a guy who’s worked with Aretha Franklin and Paul Simon.
Topley has worked with guitarist/songwriter Dominic Miller (best known for his work with Sting), and frequently records with his band and plays live with his band (Luke Brighty – guitar, James Eller – bass, Jim Kimberley – drums, Mark Taylor – keyboards, Dorie Jackson – backing vocals).
On the back of his latest album, Aristocrats of the South Seas and annual Bahamas Fan Trip, William Topley and the Black River Band are delivering songs that are dripping with evocative lyrics and memorable musical imagery.

The Michael Hornbuckle Band
Michael Hornbuckle has been bringing blues and rock music to people for 18 years. Homegrown in the Mile High City, as was his father, legendary blues man Bobby Hornbuckle who had Michael backing him on drums at 12 years old. While Bobby’s journey ended in 96′, Michael took over the torch. Michael inherited Bobby’s old gibson 335. Some say a piece of Bobby’s soul, and ability to play guitar were transmitted. Michael’s quick to point out however: “The truth is, I spent all my time playing guitar cut I loved to play. I don’t know about all that other spooky stuff, but who knows”
Nevertheless it was a quick transition. His 1st release in 98′ “Pass The Torch” was a raw and respected blues/rock album including; original cuts, covers such as Creams’ version of Outside Woman Blues, and a tip of the hat to the man who passed on his love for blues, with a Bobby Hornbuckle original, Down In The Valley.
Early 2000’s after a Red Rocks appearance warming up the Doobie Brothers, he spent time touring the country with Texas blues monster Vince Converse, and releasing the acoustic blues album Conbuckle Station “Here Come The Blues” on New Shoes Records. Michael continued to make more appearances at Red Rocks, McNichols Arena (for the very last rock concert there with Z.Z Top) The Pepsi Center (for their first rock concert) and Fiddlers Green Ampitheatre for shows like the B.B King Blues Fest.
Michael released “Lost & Found By Trial & Error”, in 05′, and took it as an opportunity to evolve a songwriting ability, as well as a vocal and guitar sound that has become the reason for the buzz. In 2012, Michael was in L.A. recording the critically acclaimed album, Virtue & Vice with world class producer Alex ‘Ace’ Baker and brother Brian Hornbuckle. “Michael’s voice is a soulful powerhouse that closely matched the pipes of Paul Rodgers (Bad Company) as they soar over the blues the band hands out on Virtue and Vice, their most recent release.”
– Danny B. Alternate Root
“The songs themselves are nothing short of excellent. One of the best things about this album is that every song is its own experience, meaning the record will stay fresh with many repeated listens. This is a pair of musicians that is the absolute best at what they do, and after just a few listens, you will be hoping to yourself that it is not another 12-year wait until they bless us with another release!”
– Taylor Carlson Rock Over America
Not since ZZ Top and Stevie Ray Vaughn has there been a band that could wind a mean bar room boogie and bring the blues home like the Hornbuckle Brothers. Michael & Brian Hornbuckle take their inherited skill and bring serious fire to the front house in Virtue & Vice, their latest, and what will probably be recognized as one of the best new independently produced albums of the year.”
– Joseph Timmons Xombiewoof Magazine & Xombiewoof Records
2015 after an appearance at the Telluride Blues Fest, the Mile High Blues Society recognized Michael by awarding him: Best Blues Band, Best Self Produced Album, and sent he and his band to Memphis to represent Colorado at the Internation Blues Challenge.
2016, and Hornbuckle’s teaming up with Ace Baker again for his latest release The Memphis Sessions, due out August 2016. Michael is also nominated in this years Rock Awards for best songwriter, best song, best male vocalist, and best blues band.
Austin Young Band
Delivering fiery guitar licks and soulful sounds to listeners worldwide, Austin Young has crafted a unique sound and crowd-pleasing experience. With electrifying passion, energy, and stage presence, Austin makes every show personable and memorable to those within earshot. While staying true to traditional Blues elements, Austin has incorporated themes of contemporary Rock, Jazz, and Gospel to make his sound stand out to the large crowds he attracts. When he is without his guitar, Austin enjoys giving back to charities that hold a special place in his heart, including Blue Star Connection and Habitat for Humanity. Driven forward by his passion for the guitar and faith in Christ, Austin is determined to continue his mission of positively impacting others through his music.

Alastair Greene
Whiskey Bayou Records proudly presents THE NEW WORLD BLUES, by Alastair Greene, produced by Whiskey Bayou co-founder Tab Benoit. Benoit’s label partner, Rueben Williams, also manager to Greene [Tab Benoit, Samantha Fish, Devon Allman] enthuses, “On The New World Blues, Alastair makes it clear why he is a guitar player’s guitar player’ and this recording will surely leave the Alastair Greene stamp on the Blues Rock World. ”
Greene traveled to Houma, Louisiana to record with Grammy nominated Benoit, who produced, played drums and sang harmonies on this record, and bass player Corey Duplechin. “This is definitely the most stripped down blues-based album I’ve ever made. The vast majority of this record is live in the studio with very few overdubs and many were first or second takes,” says Greene. The diverse, thoughtfully penned songs are all Greene originals, with a few co-written with Benoit. “When I started writing the majority of these songs in early 2019, I had no idea they would take on a whole new and more poignant meaning as time went on” says Greene, “The New World Blues is a reflection of current times and has equal parts light and dark.” With Alastair Greene, even the darkest lyrics are woven with a thread of hope. The 11 songs cover a lot of ground, tying together Greene’s varied influences into his deeply rooted playing, singing, and songwriting. Some tracks give a nod to rock icons like Gary Moore and Peter Green, others find a funky blues groove. Some are driven by Greene’s tasty slide guitar, while others capture the feel of the Cajun environment, paired with a rock-solid Louisiana rhythm section.
Greene’s rock and blues credentials include eight years of international touring on guitar and vocals with the Alan Parsons Project, and major dates with Starship featuring Mickey Thomas, plus many guest appearances with such luminaries as Eric Burdon, Walter Trout, Coco Montoya, Savoy Brown, and Debbie Davies. He is a longtime regular and host at the Memphis-based Blues Foundation events, performances and showcases, has been a featured performer at the Big Blues Bender and the Legendary Rhythm & Blues Cruise, and traversed the globe touring with Sugaray Rayford’s band, which was nominated for a 2020 Blues Music Award.

Mr. Majestyk’s 8-Track Revival
What do you get when you come to see a Mr. Majestyk’s 8-Track Revival show? You get “Grade A” performances of rock and pop masterpieces from the 1970s. That’s right kids…this means tunes that you may not often hear these days. From ELO, Alice Cooper and Led Zeppelin, to rarities by Nick Gilder, Gary Wright and Sweet…MM8TR delivers 100% top fuel analog rock and roll, with a side of AM gold pop.
Formed in 2013, Mr. Majestyk’s 8-Track Revival (and his Cavalcade of All-Stars) has established themselves as one of Colorado’s premiere live acts. Yellowscene Magazine has stated, “their sound is as arresting as the spectacle they deliver in person. It’s a local superband of funktasm.” Denver’s Westword Magazine has included them in their Ten of the Best Cover Bands in Colorado – 2016 Edition. The members of MM8TR are some of the most experienced and talented musicians around, drawing from backgrounds in classical, musical theater, as well as decades of Colorado’s BEST rock and roll. A unique feature of a MM8TR show is their 3-piece string section, known affectionately by their fans as…..Sweet Action. What you hear on your favorite records is what you’ll hear live.
MM8TR maintains a busy concert schedule, performing for sold-out audiences in the most popular theaters, clubs and outdoor festivals throughout Colorado. In 2016, they appeared as guest artists with The Front Range Youth Symphony as well as a special Halloween event, performing a full-stage production of Alice Cooper’s 1975 classic Welcome to my Nightmare. In April of 2017, MM8TRperformed in the Denver Pops Orchestra’s Rockin’ with the Pops concert series.
The band’s song list was carefully engineered to capture the true essence of the ‘70s and evoke great memories from a time when music was raw and untarnished. Did MM8TR go with the obvious cheese?……Negative. They drill deep in to the medulla oblongata for the songs you really loved when they were played on the radio. These are the songs that blasted from the 8-track player of your 1970 Dodge Challenger as you hurled through the desert, Vegas-bound. Now these gems live forever within the MM8TR machine! Their live show is like none other and one not to be missed.

Event Details
The eighth full-length from singer/songwriter Jason Eady, To The Passage Of Time first took shape in a frenetic burst of creativity back in the doldrums of quarantine. Over the course of a three-day period last August, the Fort Worth, Texas-based musician wrote more than half of the album, locking himself in his bedroom and emerging only when he felt completely burnt out. “I went in thinking I was going to write just one song—but then the songs kept coming, and I didn’t want to break the spell,” he recalls. “I’d go to sleep with the guitar by the bed, pick it back up when I woke up the next morning, and do it all again. I’d never really experienced anything like that before.”
With its nuanced exploration of aging and loss and the fragility of life, To The Passage Of Time arrives as the Mississippi-bred artist’s most lyrically complex and compelling work to date. As Eady reveals, the album’s understated power stems in part from the intentionality of the recording process, which involved enlisting Band of Heathens’ Gordy Quist as producer and gathering many of Eady’s favorite musicians he’s played with over the years (including Noah Jeffries on mandolin and fiddle, Mark Williams on upright bass and cello, and Geoff Queen on Dobro, pedal steel, and lap steel). “I really love egoless players—people who know how to serve the song,” notes Eady, who recorded at The Finishing School in Austin and made ample use of the studio’s goldmine of vintage gear. “We started every song with just me on guitar, and if someone felt like they had a part to add, they had to come forward and say what they heard there. Everything was built from the ground up, and because of that there’s no filler—nobody playing to show off or take up space.”
On the album’s exquisite centerpiece “French Summer Sun”—a devastating epic astoundingly captured in the very first take—Eady shares one of his most riveting pieces of storytelling yet. “My grandfather fought at Battle of Anzio in Italy in World War II, and a few years ago on tour I went to visit the beach where the battle took place,” says Eady. “I was struck by how small the beach was—I realized that if my grandfather had made one wrong move he would’ve been killed, and I wouldn’t be standing there thinking those thoughts. I ended up writing this song about how when someone dies in war, it isn’t just killing that person: it’s killing the generations of people who would have come from them.” Building to a shattering plot twist in its final moments, “French Summer Sun” drifts between its somberly sung chorus and spoken-word verses, attaining an unlikely transcendence as Eady sheds equally poignant light on the horror of war and the ephemeral beauty of everyday
life.
Looking back on the making of To The Passage Of Time, Eady points to such unexpected moments as the recording of the album-opening “Nothing On You.” “Apart from my guitar, the only two instruments on that song are cello and steel guitar—which is a combination I’d never heard before, and gave it a whole new character that took my breath away,” he says. But for the most part, Eady achieved a rare outcome in the album’s production: a direct expression of his deep-rooted and highly specific vision. “I write my songs on acoustic guitar, so sometimes in the studio things take different turns and end up not really matching with what you had in your head,” says Eady. “But because of the approach we took with this album, there’s hardly anything that came out different from what I’d envisioned. This is 100 percent the album I hoped I would make.”

TEN YEARS GONE: A CELEBRATION OF THE MIGHTY LED ZEPPELIN
Ten Years Gone – A Led Zeppelin Tribute brings all the sonic mastery and energy to authentically recreate the amazingly memorable Led Zeppelin experience in an exhilarating live show. By combining the best live performance and studio album sound, Ten Years Gone gives music fans the ultimate tribute show to one of the greatest rock bands there ever was. Faithful recreations of equipment, style, and sound brings fans back to when the Hammer of the Gods was held by Led Zeppelin.
Ten Years Gone is lead by John McGah and his soaring vocals. He delivers Robert Plant’s iconic style and vintage high notes to a degree not many singers can reach. His high energy front-man prowess brings audiences to their feet at every show. Cody Sickler’s astute knowledge of Zeppelin’s musical catalog and Jimmy Page’s lead-guitar style brings Ten Years Gone to a new height of authenticity. His use of Jimmy Page’s famous Les Paul guitars brings all of the classic tones to the stage. Bret Perrin on electric and acoustic rhythm guitars rounds out the wall of sound that can be heard on Zeppelin’s studio recordings. Bret’s guitar element and backing vocals enriches the sound audience members hear at shows. Rhythmically holding the sound together is J. Simms on bass, who functions as the pulse of Ten Years Gone. J. is dedicated to the pursuit of emulating John Paul Jones’ legendary bass lines and musical sensibilities. Multi-instrumentalist Bill Galey’s orchestral touch on the keyboards and acoustic guitars is paramount in the recreation of Led Zeppelin’s music. He leads the band through epic show stoppers such as “Kashmir” and the beautiful “Rain Song.” On drums, Joe Lederman has mastered John Bonham’s thunderous style. As a lifelong fan of Bonzo’s, Joe has meticulously studied Zeppelin’s bombastic percussive side since he was a young boy; and he takes special pride in performing an authentically-inspired “Moby Dick” drum solo.
The band reproduces all of the hits, deep cuts, and folk and blues inspired songs in a way that captures all of the light and shade aesthetics, which Jimmy Page touts as one of the key aspects in Led Zeppelin’s music. Ten Years Gone’s incredible sonic and visual presence has developed on Colorado’s theater and festival stages.
“Led Zeppelin tribute bands are not uncommon, but Ten Years Gone is one of the really special ones. The lights, the musical quality, the energy, and the look; the band’s live performances do not disappoint.” — Denver Westword

LAST IN LINE (Featuring Original members of DIO)
Last In Line was formed in 2011, when Vinny Appice, Last In Line was formed in 2011, when Vinny Appice, Jimmy Bain, and Vivian Campbell, (Ronnie James Dio’s co-conspirators and co-writers on the “Holy “Holy Diver”, “Last In Line” – the album from which they took their name, and “Sacred Heart” albums) teamed up with esteemed vocalist Andrew Freeman. The debut album “Heavy Crown” was released in February 2016, landing at #1 on the Billboard Heat-Seekers Chart. Initially, the release had been preceded by tragedy when bassist Jimmy Bain unexpectedly passed away at the age of 68 on January 23, 2016. Last In Line, honoring what they knew would be Bain’s wish to keep the band moving, brought in renowned bassist Phil Soussan (ex-Ozzy Osbourne) and committed to sustained touring in support of the album, hitting festivals, headlining clubs, and sharing the stage with metal luminaries such as Saxon and Megadeth.
In late 2017, the band gathered in L.A. to start the recording of the second album, which was produced by the band members and Jeff Pilson (Foreigner, The End: machine, ex-Dokken), who also produced the debut album. Having really gelled as a band while touring in support of the debut album, the songwriting came readily to the members. They’ve created a record that shows a big progression in sound, while immediately being recognizable as Last In Line thanks to Vinny Appice’s rhythms, thunderous bass from Soussan, amazing vocals from Andrew Freeman, and the roaring guitars of Vivian Campbell.
“The musical style of ‘II’ is different from ‘Heavy Crown’, but it wasn’t something that we planned to do,” explains Vivian Campbell. “Phil is a more intricate player than Jimmy was and that, together with the natural growth and development of the band led us to the songs on the album. As always, we simply started to jam on ideas and see where they led us. But it’s fair to say that the songs on this album sound more developed, with more parts and more experimentation than the songs on ‘Heavy Crown’. The first album set a tone, but on ‘II’ we developed that idea and took it to the next logical stage.”
Drummer Vinny Appice, on the sound of the new record and song writing process, says “I always sound like me. Viv and I have been playing together for years and have the same feel and pulse and attitude. Now with Phil on bass, he allows a more melodic approach on the bass parts making the songs even more interesting. He fits in perfectly being from the same musical family and time as me and Viv. Mr. Freeman sings from his soul and completes the band’s sound with his melodies and amazing range.”
He continues, “the songwriting process was the same as DIO’s ‘Holy Diver’. First, we have fun writing together. We get in a room and jam on riffs and chords until we hit on something good, then continue to build it into a song. Andy puts his magic on it and it all works out very well.”
Asked about first single ‘Landslide’, Vocalist Andrew Freeman says, “’Landslide’ was the first song we wrote for this record. It was really easy to write as all of the parts fell into place quickly. The title ‘Landslide’ is a metaphor relating to the day to day struggles that we all go through as people. Trying to keep on course when dealing with adversity, manipulation through media and leadership. It’s meant to inspire strength and resolve.
Phil Soussan says about how it was joining Last In Line and the development of the songs, “It was refreshing to be able to write songs in such an organic fashion – by jamming and developing ideas as a group, without bringing in preconceived songs – something I haven’t done for ages. The result was a true collaboration, a concept that is so rare these days! Vinny has a unique style of drumming that, beyond keeping beats, inspires riffs and arrangements and Vivian has a way of playing that has a conviction to every note. He is able to turn every riff into a signature. Andrew was creative and unrestricted, focusing his contemporary influences into vocal stylings and hooks that are outside the classic rock clichés. He is very much a perfectionist. Beyond trying to remain true to Jimmy’s playing and to the heritage of the relationship between Viv and Vinny, everyone was completely open to exploring any possible idea. I am honestly prouder of our efforts on this album than anything in which I have been involved in for a very long time.
With ‘II’ I would like to think that we have stretched out from ‘Heavy Crown’ to test some uncharted waters…. the evolution of Last in Line!”

- Vinny Appice – Drums
- Phil Soussan – Bass
- Andrew Freeman – Vocals

Event Details
“Winger’s musical pedigree was practically unmatched in 80’s metal… the band crafted a debut album that combined hard-pop melodies with plenty of proggy, technically dazzling instrumental work”
– Rolling Stone Magazine.
Winger is an American hard rock band from New York City. Their debut album, Winger, came out on Atlantic Record’s label in 1988 and achieved platinum status in the United States and gold in Japan and Canada. Winger stayed on the Billboard Top 200 chart for over 60 weeks, where it peaked at #21. It spawned such hits as “Seventeen” and “Headed for a Heartbreak”. To support the album, the band toured for over a year with Bad Company, Scorpions, Cinderella, Bon Jovi, Poison, Skid Row and Tesla.
In 1990, Winger was nominated for an American Music Award for “Best New Heavy Metal Band”. Their follow-up album, In the Heart of the Young, was released in 1990 and just like their first album, reached platinum. It peaked at #15 on Billboard’s Top 200 and hits off this album include “Can’t Get Enuff”, “Miles Away” and “Easy Come Easy Go”. To support this album, Winger toured the world for 13 months, playing over 230 dates with KISS, Scorpions, ZZ Top, Extreme and Slaughter.
The change in musical climate of the mid-90’s led the band to go on hiatus in 1994 after the release of their third album Pull, which peaked at #83 on Billboard’s Top 200. In 2001, the band reunited, completed several very successful tours and have not looked back since. Winger has made a name for themselves with relentless touring, while winning back fans and critics alike because of their exceptional musicianship, Kip Winger’s powerful vocals and the band’s incredible songwriting.
In 2006, they released their 4th studio album, IV, which is the most musically progressive album of Winger’s career. Lyrically, much of the album is sung from the perspective of U.S. soldiers stationed overseas. In 2009 Kip Winger was presented by U.S. General Harold Cross with an honorary plaque and U.S. flag that had flown in Iraq for the song “Blue Suede Shoes”, which honors the service and sacrifice of the United States armed forces and their families.
In 2009, Winger released their 5th studio album, Karma. This album was hailed as their best studio album released. The band toured the US, Europe and South America to support the album.
In 2014, Winger released their 6th studio album, Better Days Comin’, which entered at #4 on Billboard’s Hard Rock Albums Chart and at #85 on Billboard’s Top 200.
“A hard-hitting album…Winger’s blood is still pumping…so are the tunes”
– Kerrang! Magazine.
“This is a band who refuse to merely glide on past glories… Winger push their own boundaries.”
– Classic Rock Magazine
NEW ALBUM RELEASE:
SEVEN, the band’s 7th studio album, will be released on May 5 and is now available for pre-order on CD/LP/Digital at www.wingertheband.com. The album’s first single, “Proud Desperado”, is now available for streaming/download on all digital music platforms and its official music video is now on YouTube.
