King Margo

King Margo is Lucciana Costa and Rachel Coats, who grew up 40 minutes apart but didn’t meet until many years later in the middle of a Kentucky field.

​Lucciana grew up in Ann Arbor, Michigan, discovering the slide guitar at 12 years old, which led to her playing in several local bands throughout her teens. Rachel, from Toledo, Ohio, also cut her teeth on the local gig scene with her musically inclined family. An upright bass player since middle school, Rachel continued on to play in several orchestras and earned a Music Education degree from Bowling Green State University.

Both women spent their twenties building a steady rotation of live shows, studio work and a gun-for-hire reputation as multi-instrumentalists. Rachel was selected to join several international touring artists in the folk-pop realm on bass and vocals. Lucciana focused on songwriting and composition, spending half a decade in Los Angeles honing her craft and scoring films and commercials. Eventually Lucciana and Rachel found themselves in Nashville, both hired for the same touring band where they met for the first time. They connected instantly, both musically and personally, and the seeds for what would eventually become King Margo were planted.

King Margo hit the road almost immediately, thanks to the girls’ love of travel and their inclination to book shows across the country to hang out with friends and family (and to fund out-of-budget snowboarding trips). Scrappy gigs and long hours in a van helped solidify the humor and tone of their first album, Barely Gettin By, which was self-recorded and successfully crowdfunded by fans they’d picked up along their travels. Their first album was pure fun, capturing the sarcasm and liveliness honed by playing in rowdy bars deep into the night.

For 2022’s release Waters Rise, King Margo offers a more evolved sound. The songs are more personal. The arrangements are more intricate, featuring soaring harmonies that have captured listeners across the country. “She never boarded up the windows/Grandma likes to say/She rode out every storm/Frying chicken just the same,” opens the song “Monsters,” inspired by a conversation overheard in a New Orleans coffee shop. The girls pay homage to their upbeat roots with the barnburner tune “Floodlights and Sequins” which they say is about “looking hot and committing crime.” There are songs of the mundane nature of real love, rich people going to space, and partying during the apocalypse. Produced by Gabe Lee, David Dorn and Alex Torrez, Waters Rise was released through Torrez Music Group in September of 2022.

King Margo is ready for a beer in your town. If they’re not making music, they are out rock climbing or snowboarding. They are disciples of living the good life, taking care of your people and being nicer to the planet. They want to see you somewhere out there soon.

Conal Aaron (Rosenbalm)

Conal Aaron is a singer and songwriter based in Denver, Colorado. He has shared the stage with members of The String Cheese Incident, The Infamous Stringdusters, and Leftover Salmon, and has played with local crowd favorite The Drunken Hearts. Conal has appeared on stage at the Yarmony Music Festival, Mishawaka Amphitheater, The Fox Theatre (Boulder), the Aggie Theatre (Fort Collins) and Stay Gold, the late legendary dive in Austin, Texas.

In a scene saturated with bluegrass and jam bands, Conal offers something different. Heavily influenced by Amos Lee, Dave Matthews, and Jason Isbell, Conal writes from a place of positivity while keeping it personal. His songs resonate with audiences through engaging lyrics and irresistible hooks about life and love and the mess of it all; his stellar tenor vocal is the cherry on top.

After working with multiple acoustic rock groups, Conal founded Denver’s Wichita Run in 2012. That band released an EP of all-original compositions by Conal in 2014. You can find Conal performing most weekends at Denver-area breweries and clubs.

Amanda Hawkins

Largely recognized as an “R&B” singer by fans and industry professionals, the gifted singer/soul-songwriter recorded over 100 songs and performed well over 200 times before the age of 18. Following high school graduation, Amanda became a resident of Los Angeles, California. The Denver-born artist fit in seamlessly within the fast paced world of music entertainment and later found herself on American Idol among the show’s top 50 performers.

Influenced by the likes of Luther Vandross, Pink, Aaliyah, Gwen Stefani, Lauryn Hill, Bonnie Raitt and Mary J. Blige & Elton John, Amanda’s heart is felt with every word written and every chord strummed.

This honesty and effortless consistency has made Amanda Hawkins a household name in her home city of Denver, Colorado. She is often seen singing at for the Denver Nuggets and Colorado Avalanche home games as well as the Denver Martin Luther King Jr. Marade and benefits such as the Susan G. Koman Foundation at Denver’s Hard Rock Cafe. 

Bluegrass Brunch at The Rose with Pennies on the Track

Pennies on the Track brings sweet vocal harmonies and versatile acoustic instruments to a variety of styles from folk and bluegrass to country and rock n’ roll.  With original music and covers of some Americana’s greatest, the band brings something for everybody.

The Pennies began as a trio of singer/songwriters – Brian Good, Jack Keith, and Neil Sperandeo – and became a quintet in 2021, joined by Morgan Carlson’s exquisite violin and songwriter Alex Harrison’s euphonic voice and cello.  These 5 friends play for the love of making music together, and that enjoyment reaches out to anyone listening.

Chuck Fisher

Chuck Fisher, a guitarist with over 20 years of professional experience, is a musician and an entertainer with many levels of musical talent. Born in Detroit, Michigan, his music has developed in Colorado. He studied music at the University of Colorado and privately under various professors from many colleges an Universities. His training also has included voice and piano from many noted professors. Over the years he has played solo and in a wide variety of bands from R&B and Classic Rock, to Blues and Jazz Fusion. Chuck was a founding member of the local Denver Jazz recording act Minus Zero. He has performed with various Denver acts such as: Hazel Miller, Soul School, Chase N’ the Dream, Ron Ivory, Vintage, and Diana Wood to name a few, he is currently working with Tunisia. He has opened for such national acts as: Little Feat, K.C. and the Sunshine Band, The Four Tops, Confunction, and Nestor Torres. He has performed with National acts the likes of the Drifters and Robin E. Chuck currently teaches private music lessons and performs both locally and nationally.

Acoustically electric & eclectic – this musical bunch of giants captures the storytelling of old country with a new school bluegrass charm. Based out of Steamboat Springs, Colorado, the band brings the energy of the mountain, river, rodeo and saloon.

Hunter Archer & The Quiver has taken the stage at Cervantes Masterpiece Ballroom in Denver, The Fox Theater in Boulder, The Alibi in Telluride, festivals in Moab and Leadville, around the Yampa Valley, and toured in Wyoming, Montana, Utah, California and Colorado.
