Performing the Hits:
o CUM ON FEEL THE NOIZE
o BANG YOUR HEAD (METAL HEALTH)
o MAMA WEER ALL CRAZEE NOW
o SLICK BLACK CADILLAC
o THE WILD AND THE YOUNG & MORE…
Legendary bassist and Metal Health founding member RUDY SARZO has returned to the band after almost a 20 year absence. As per the wishes of Frankie Banali who passed away in 2020, and the Banali estate QUIET RIOT continues its historic journey in 2022. The lineup is composed of QUIET RIOT guitarist ALEX GROSSI, vocalist JIZZY PEARL and is now joined by Type O Negative drummer JOHNNY KELLY.
QUIET RIOT is a rock & roll phenomenon. Famously described as the first heavy metal band to top the pop chart at #1 on Billboard magazine, the Los Angeles quartet became an overnight sensation thanks to their monster 1983 smash album Metal Health.
The story of QUIET RIOT begins in 1980 when Kevin DuBrow formed a new band under his own name, working with Frankie Banali and a variety of musicians over the next few years before signing with Pasha/CBS Records, reverting back to the QUIET RIOT moniker, and entering the studio with new guitarist Carlos Cavazo and bassist Chuck Wright to start work on a new album. The year was 1982 and, following Randy Rhoads’ well-documented death, former henchman Rudy Sarzo left Ozzy, replacing Chuck Wright who is the bass player on record for both the “Metal Health” and “Don’t Wanna Let You Go” tracks, to complete the lineup and sessions for what would become 1983’s Metal Health. Driven by the irresistible double whammy of the title track’s muscular bass line and a raucous rendition of the old Slade chestnut “Cum on Feel the Noize,” the album stormed up the U.S. charts, duly reaching the number one spot and going platinum five times over in the process at that time. The sales of Metal Health have now exceeded the 10 million mark worldwide to date.
QUIET RIOT returned to the studio to record 1984’s Condition Critical, which went on to sell over 2 million copies in the US and included another chart-ready Slade cover in “Mama Weer All Crazee Now” and the self- penned “Party All Night.” In 1986
QUIET RIOT re-grouped to launch the QR III record, Sarzo had been replaced by former bassist Chuck Wright. Vocalist Paul Shortino stepped in and recorded 1988’s simply named Quiet Riot with Banali, Cavazo, and new bassist Sean McNabb.
In 1991, DuBrow and Cavazo began working together once again, joined by Frankie Banali and eventually recording 1993’s Terrified with bassist Kenny Hillery. Down to the Bone followed two years later with Chuck Wright back on bass, and in 1997, a one-off performance at an after show party hosted by industrial shock rocker Marilyn Manson who had requested to Banali that QUIET RIOT perform, lured bassist Rudy Sarzo back to the fold.
With that lineup once again, QUIET RIOT hit the road playing venues across America, Europe and Asia. This lineup was captured on 1999’s Alive and Well album, and 2001 saw the release of Guilty Pleasures. QUIET RIOT officially parted company with Rudy Sarzo and Carlos Cavazo in October of 2003. In 2004 DuBrow and Banali recruited guitarist Alex Grossi and bassist Chuck Wright and continued to tour nonstop throughout 2006 in America, Europe, South America and Asia. For the recording of Rehab in 2006, DuBrow and Banali entered the studio with bassist Tony Franklin and guitarist Neil Citron, both long time friends of Banali. QUIET RIOT with the lineup of DuBrow, Banali, Wright and Grossi continued to perform live worldwide until November of 2007 when sadly, Kevin DuBrow’s singing career was cut short with his passing on November 25, 2007.
After nearly three years since the loss of his friend and bandmate Kevin DuBrow, and with careful consideration, soul searching and with the blessings and support of Kevin DuBrow’s family, Frankie Banali decided to continue his journey and the musical legacy of QUIET RIOT along with bassist Chuck Wright, guitarist Alex Grossi and vocalist Jizzy Pearl and continued to play live as much as he could through his courageous cancer battle up until December of 2019. He chose Johnny Kelly to sub for him on dates he could not play and Mr. Kelly has now taken the reins behind the drums going forward as per Frankie’s wishes. The band is excited to welcome RUDY SARZO back into the band and are looking forward to touring and recording into 2022 and beyond.

Ryan Chrys & The Rough Cuts
Ryan Chrys & The Rough Cuts bring forth new energy to music fans who love the heroes and outlaws of old. Influenced by the songs and personalities of legends like Waylon and Willie, they drive their sound with blazing guitars and a rock n’ roll attitude. The band pays respect to classic styles, but anyone can tell from their overdriven sound that they’re far from traditionalists. Recommended for lovers of both classic country and 70’s rock n roll.
At a glance, Ryan Chrys & The Rough Cuts are a 4-piece modern outlaw country band blending male and female leads. They’re known for their original style of blending old school country and rock n roll and have been praised for their songwriting and nominated in the Ameripolitan Music Awards for “Best Outlaw Group.” They’ve directly supported Dwight Yoakam, Shooter Jennings, Blackberry Smoke, Jason Boland, Justin Moore and more.

Jason Eady
The eighth full-length from singer/songwriter Jason Eady, To The Passage Of Time first took shape in a frenetic burst of creativity back in the doldrums of quarantine. Over the course of a three-day period last August, the Fort Worth, Texas-based musician wrote more than half of the album, locking himself in his bedroom and emerging only when he felt completely burnt out. “I went in thinking I was going to write just one song—but then the songs kept coming, and I didn’t want to break the spell,” he recalls. “I’d go to sleep with the guitar by the bed, pick it back up when I woke up the next morning, and do it all again. I’d never really experienced anything like that before.”
With its nuanced exploration of aging and loss and the fragility of life, To The Passage Of Time arrives as the Mississippi-bred artist’s most lyrically complex and compelling work to date. As Eady reveals, the album’s understated power stems in part from the intentionality of the recording process, which involved enlisting Band of Heathens’ Gordy Quist as producer and gathering many of Eady’s favorite musicians he’s played with over the years (including Noah Jeffries on mandolin and fiddle, Mark Williams on upright bass and cello, and Geoff Queen on Dobro, pedal steel, and lap steel). “I really love egoless players—people who know how to serve the song,” notes Eady, who recorded at The Finishing School in Austin and made ample use of the studio’s goldmine of vintage gear. “We started every song with just me on guitar, and if someone felt like they had a part to add, they had to come forward and say what they heard there. Everything was built from the ground up, and because of that there’s no filler—nobody playing to show off or take up space.”
On the album’s exquisite centerpiece “French Summer Sun”—a devastating epic astoundingly captured in the very first take—Eady shares one of his most riveting pieces of storytelling yet. “My grandfather fought at Battle of Anzio in Italy in World War II, and a few years ago on tour I went to visit the beach where the battle took place,” says Eady. “I was struck by how small the beach was—I realized that if my grandfather had made one wrong move he would’ve been killed, and I wouldn’t be standing there thinking those thoughts. I ended up writing this song about how when someone dies in war, it isn’t just killing that person: it’s killing the generations of people who would have come from them.” Building to a shattering plot twist in its final moments, “French Summer Sun” drifts between its somberly sung chorus and spoken-word verses, attaining an unlikely transcendence as Eady sheds equally poignant light on the horror of war and the ephemeral beauty of everyday
life.
Looking back on the making of To The Passage Of Time, Eady points to such unexpected moments as the recording of the album-opening “Nothing On You.” “Apart from my guitar, the only two instruments on that song are cello and steel guitar—which is a combination I’d never heard before, and gave it a whole new character that took my breath away,” he says. But for the most part, Eady achieved a rare outcome in the album’s production: a direct expression of his deep-rooted and highly specific vision. “I write my songs on acoustic guitar, so sometimes in the studio things take different turns and end up not really matching with what you had in your head,” says Eady. “But because of the approach we took with this album, there’s hardly anything that came out different from what I’d envisioned. This is 100 percent the album I hoped I would make.”

A Benefit to Raise Awareness for Suicide Prevention
What: YANA (You Are Never Alone), a Suicide Prevention Benefit for all ages When: August 31st, Buffalo Rose, Golden, 7:00 PM
Why: According to Statista, Colorado has the second highest suicide rate amongst adolescents and teens in the Nation
Suicide is the 2nd leading cause of death in people 15-44 in Colorado.
We are 5th amongst women and in the top 10 overall for suicides in the US. Suicides in Colorado have more than doubled in the last 20 years.
What can be done about it: Suicide is preventable. More than one-third of Coloradans who lost their lives to suicide had recently disclosed their intent to someone within a month prior to their death.
Studies show that the feeling of connection, even to just one person, is enough to prevent a suicide.
Staying socially connected and holding open conversations about mental health, so no one has to struggle alone, is key. This requires understanding that people of any age, gender, race, ethnicity, profession, or geography can be at risk for suicide, and that though we all have unique experiences and behaviors, knowing and watching for warning signs can make an enormous difference. Even more importantly, we all must support policies and leadership that can improve the root causes of many mental health stressors.

A quote from Nissi’s in Lafayette, CO:
“… a power trio from Colorado focusing on one common goal. To pay tribute to the greatest band on the planet… Rush. After years of slugging it out in the clubs spinning out the same songs that all the other bands are playing, these three guys decided to attempt the unimaginable. To play what many call the most intricate music of our time played by three of the most underrated musicians to grace stage or session The next step is to bring this feeling to a venue near you to allow the fans to experience the same chills and sheer enjoyment of a well represented version of the full catalog of the Rush Archives. Come on down a pay tribute the the holy triumvirate of progressive rock and become rushified!!”
Rush Archives, made up of three Denver veteran musicians…Fernando Escobar- Electric/Acoustic Guitars, Bass Pedals. Steve Clark- Vocals, Bass, Bass Pedals, Synthesizer and Ron Straley- Drums and Percussion, have to be seen to be believed. CHRIS DUARTE
To classify Chris Duarte simply as a Blues Man is an understatement. In his own words, “rockin’ blues” or ”punk blues” describes him best. “Ferocious blues” also fits. Legend has it that Chris will play so hard that his fingers bleed in a set. The legend is true. Photos attest.
Chris Duarte is a road warrior playing more than 150 dates a year. As well, Chris has headlined major festivals and clubs throughout the US, Canada and Europe.
Chris is a savant, a sorcerer of tone, a master at channeling the spirits and sounds of great musicians of our past, while remaining completely recognizable in his own sound. He has shared his stage with many of the greatest musicians of our time as well as the multitude of “young lions” and local musicians he meets on the road. From his many years as a side man in Austin, he easily changes roles from front to side, graciously allowing all to share the conversation of the jam.
Chris Duarte’s music is ever changing. In many interviews, he has said “Music must evolve.” His own early offerings often become magical journeys into changing tempo and jazzy interludes before returning to their core. With such a vast catalog of recordings, there are no two shows alike. Every set list is different, and each song may be offered distinctly, based on the feel of a show and the audience. For those reasons, loyal fans often return to a Chris Duarte show again and again, and always walk away awed and satisfied to have witnessed such a legendary, but humble guitarist.
The Chris Duarte Group emerged on the scene out of Austin, Texas in the early 90’s and gained notoriety after wowing a packed room of industry insiders at the South X Southwest convention. In the wake of Stevie Ray Vaughan’s passing, Duarte quickly gained a National reputation as young man imbued with a playing style comparable at times to the late guitarist. After fielding interest from a number of labels, Duarte signed to Silvertone Records and his debut album “Texas Sugar/Strat Magik” reportedly sold in excess of 100,000 units in the United States, no small feat for a blues/rock guitarist. This coupled with Duarte’s strong commitment to touring, was the impetus for Chris’ winning the “Best New Talent” in Guitar Player’s 1995 Reader’s Poll. He also finished fourth in the magazine’s “Best Blues Guitarist” category that year behind legends Eric Clapton, Buddy Guy and B.B. King.

The Elton John Experience
{A full evening of hits and amazing album cuts of one of the greatest songbooks and performers ever} : Elton John
At an Elton Dan concert, you will be enveloped into the magic of Elton’s music through a multimedia production, over-the-top costume changes, the incredible musicianship of the Rocket Band and the high-energy performance that Elton Dan brings to the stage like Elton John of the days past. “So much energy and pure joy!”, “Fantastic costumes and production!”, “Mesmerizing,” are a taste of the comments from their fans. “I want our shows to be a true tribute to the greatest musical artist ever,” Dan says. “When someone attends one of our shows, I don’t try to imitate Elton. Rather, I want the concertgoer to be immersed in the full experience.”
Elton classics including “Rocket Man,” “Goodbye Yellow Brick Road,” “Bennie and the Jets,” “I’m Still Standing,” “Philadelphia Freedom,” “Tiny Dancer,” “Saturday Night’s Alright For Fighting,” are are featured, along with “Daniel,” which brings a personal story for “Daniel” Gasser from his 105 year old grandmother who loves to attend Dan’s shows when he tours California. The band also chooses some songs from deeper in the catalog such as “Amoreena,” “Madman Across the Water,” “Funeral for a Friend/Love Lies Bleeding” and others that rotate in and out and continually adding to keep the band and audience invigorated.
